Some time in early 2008 Ninni Poijärvi, a fantastic musician, fiddle player and singer-songwriter, asked me if it would be possible that Ninni´s Trio could come together with Martha Scanlan and the Stuart Brothers to do a show in Livegraphy.

I was more than pleased: Ninni and the guys in the trio, Mika and Olli, are my dear friends and I have always been their fan.

About Martha and the Bros I did not know anything but after hearing some of Martha´s songs in Myspace I fell in love with her music and her voice right away!

So, one can say, that the expectations for the concert were high and as it turned out to be, the evening was beautiful and as Martha said: "so much fun, that it should be illegal" Everybody enjoyed the music, cheered and laughed with tears in their eyes and were moved with tears in their eyes. Yes - it was a night to remember and cherish!

Well, as we have recording facilities here I wanted to record the concert mainly for a document and for myself so I could listen to the concert afterwards. But the music on the recording sounded so good, that the idea of publishing it become evident...

Janne Haavisto of Mufarang International did not hesitate a bit but had the things rolling and here we are: instead of only me listening to the recording I can share it with you all!
