Multi-talented singer/songwriter/producer Ted Russell
Kamp will be back for his third time to tour Europe.

As he did with his first hit tour in Spain and France in
2007 to promote his CD "Divisadero" (2007),  Ted got
rave reviews and even charted on the Euroamericana
Chart.

A year later he garnered the same success with his
latest CD "Poor Man's Paradise", which made the
Americana Music Association's Top 100 records of the
year getting nominated for the AMA (Americana
Music Awards) as "Best New/Emerging artist of the
Year" and "Song of the Year" for "Let Love Do The Rest".
The praise from the nominations and positive reviews
are sent Kamp back abroad to tour the US and play a three
week tour in England, Spain, France, Norway and Sweden
opening also 6 shows for Gary Louris and Mark Olson.

Beside touring Europe, Ted is also bass player for Shooter
Jennings (son of legendary Waylon Jennings).
Logging in more than 150 dates a year, Ted has been
steadily touring for the past five years playing clubs,
venues and festivals across the States including the
David Letterman Show, The Jay Leno Show, Bonnaroo,
the Willie Nelson 4th of July Picnic, and tours opening
for Lynyrd Skynyrd and Toby Keith.

“I love playing with Shooter, and I would love to be doing
that forever,” Kamp says. “We’ve also done maybe six or
eight shows opening for Willie Nelson. I would love to have
a situation where we do that forever, and then I have my
cool little side project.”

A prolific songwriter, Ted has written songs for many
artists including Shooter Jennings' runaway hit
"Steady At The Wheel" which became the record's
2nd single and was #1 on the Texas charts for 6 weeks.

Since 1995 Ted has been releasing all his CDs on his own
label PoMo records which have received critical claim from
major press outlets.
Country Standard Time raved "Ted Russell Kamp is a
versatile songwriter, whose songs offers sultry soul and
drives like Buddy Holly behind the wheel of a T-bird".
Another reviewer praised Ted saying "The ghost of Waylon
Jennings be smiling,too."

A quintessential artist, Ted Russell Kamp exalts slippery
soul, blues, gospel and country music from the 1970s.
“The line between what used to be known as ‘black music’
as opposed to ‘white music’ is what’s really always
fascinated me,”
Ted says, referencing artists like Leon Russell. That’s
the line I want to cross and experiment with.  I definitely
have a real love for tradition, whether it’s classic
honky-tonk or Bobbie Gentry and blue-eyed soul and
all that stuff that Kris Kristofferson  and people like.
I wanted to make records that kind of sound like that
are somehow relevant in a modern way.

Already a busy year for Ted Russell Kamp, 2010 is turning
out to be another great year. His new record is set to
be released in spring  and he is set to tour the States and
Europe again on his own as well as with Shooter.
